Worse still, he's a whiny moron. The Brits don't want him over there. Waaaah. The right to free expression does not in any way include the right to an audience. Audiences must be earned.
I stand by the statement that there are Yankees and then there are Damn Yankees. The difference, as I see it, is mental. A Yankee was born on the wrong side of an imaginary line. He might be brave, loving, decent, and Christian. He might bed exactly the kind of guy you would want watching your family while you're away. He might be a raging jerk. A Damn Yankee, wherever he is, is convinced of his moral superiority. He is convinced that we ought to be just like them and that an accident of birth makes him better than us. Ironically, this "better by birth" view of things is very much like the 'aristocratic' and therefore 'undemocratic' view of the Southern upper classes, but that's a little beside the point. In this day and age, virtual carpetbagging is not only possible, but common. The Damn Yankees and the virtual carpetbaggers are one and the same.
The Yankee Problem In America, By Clyde Wilson http://www.namsouth.com/viewtopic.php?t=1476&highlight=clyde
"By Yankee I do not mean everybody from north of the Potomac and Ohio......I am using the term historically to designate that peculiar ethnic group descended from New Englanders, who can be easily recognized by their arrogance, hypocrisy, greed, lack of congeniality, and penchant for ordering other people around. Puritans long ago abandoned anything that might be good in their religion but have never given up the notion that they are the chosen saints whose mission is to make America, and the world, into the perfection of their own image."
For someone who never misses a chance to brow-beat Obama , or mention his own Phd. credential`s . That`s a surprising remark. Surely a Doctor of Philosophy could understand , that these weapon`s in the hand`s of the people , are the only thing preventing the insertion of the fascist jackboot all the way up his ass!.
Maybe he's been paid off also, evidently like Fox on Beck and the Judge. I also have my suspicions about Rasmussen after the last election. Calling PA and Ohio tied was way off. Also, Rasmussen has always been considered conservative, but they seem to have switched places with Gallup. For instance, today Rasmussen has Hussein at 55% while Gallup has him at 50%.
What the Savage Weiner (real name: Michael Alan Weiner) doesn't often mention is that his PhD is from Berkley in "nutritional ethnomedicine" in Fiji. Certainly there are squishier degrees--Women's Studies and Black Studies come immediately to mind--but not by much. That's why it's so amusing to me to hear him sling around his PhD so proudly, as if 'nutritional ethnomedicine' among native Fijians qualifies him as some kind of expert on, well, anything worth discussing.
He is a great example of a horrible thing: the whiney variant of the damnyankee. Absolutely convinced of his own rectitude and bound and determined to browbeat the rest of us with his moral superiority. Well, this is me with my little M.D. snickering at the Savage Weiner.
It's interesting that he's just parted ways with his old broadcast network. Could falling listenership be part of the reason why?
Honestly, I think the next time some doorknob brings up tanks, or planes, or the like, we ought to say, "Yes!" My right to property and self defense includes daisho, throwing knives, three-section staves, shillelagh, Spetznaz fighting shovels, broad swords, battle axes, those big African animal-hide shields, body armor, weaponized boomerangs, longbows, crossbows, machine guns, tanks, jets, and cruise missiles. Also rayguns and starships. If I (or even a group of people who want to go in together on one) can acquire it and operate it without resorting to force or fraud, it should damn well be mine, and any whiny displaced NewyYawkah who says otherwise can go jump off a bridge.
The Americans and the Brits fought on equal terms militarily. Both sides had cannon, muskets, horses, and wooden ships. I doubt most folks could afford to park a tank, much less run one, but that's no reason at all that those who can afford them shouldn't have them, particularly if part of the point of the 2d Amendment is to keep the other guy honest.
An Idea To GOA http://www.namsouth.com/viewtopic.php?t=2526&highlight=goa
Our position on this is:
the Second Amendment covers any weapon that our individual infantry soldier ever carried, is carrying or will carry. Naturally, in order to repel "infantry" enemies foreign and domestic, our citizen "infantry" must have competing weapons - ergo, the Second Amendment.
I think these trying times are doing more to show you things than you first realize. Think of how many people put some amount of credibility in M Savage. Think about the same concerning other news anchors, commemorators...etc.. Now think of the politicians that this also applies too. A whole lot of people believe in certain people who claim certain authority or knowledge. Conservatives likes to think such people are leaders in defending their freedoms, so they "talk them up". People, whether they realize it or not look to these people for guidance in some ways.
Our opposition knows this all to clearly. So what do they do? What would you do if you knew you could manipulate the public having pseudo liberals who really are conservatives of some sorts?
I'll just say the country is full of a lot of sleepers who appear conservative but are really liberal at heart. Savage is one, Glenn Beck is another, so is Bill Reilly. And what about politicians, there are so many fake, Manchurian type Republicans you can pick your choice.
What should be obvious now is that when something like this shooting happens, it brings out the real person, who they really are. In this case you are simply seeing the real M Savage exposing himself for what he really is. The problem here is, you have to expose him through his actions to the rest of the public so he will lose credibility among conservative type people. And the problem with that is he is only one of many!
I could say more on Savage, especially concerning my own thoughts, knowing what I know about him, but you probably wouldn't want it printed on your blog...
More on the Lanza family. The plot thickens.. Not only does the mother have a questionable connection, look at the father's connection!
BREAKING: The father of Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza, Peter Lanza, was the tax director for General Electric, a corporation that paid -0- taxes on 14.2 billion dollars in profits last year. According to Fabian4Liberty, Peter Lanza was scheduled to testify in the ongoing global LIBOR scandal. In what could only be described an amazing coincidence, the father of Colorado Batman shooter James Holmes, Robert Holmes, was also a LIBOR witness in his position with FICO. According to the link at FICO, Robert Holmes was a ‘Fraud Scientist’.
From Fabain4Liberty:
The father of Newtown Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza is Peter Lanza who is a VP and Tax Director at GE Financial. The father of Aurora Colorado movie theater shooter James Holmes is Robert Holmes, the lead scientist for the credit score company FICO. Both men were to testify before the US Sentate in the ongoing LIBOR scandal. The London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, is the average interest rate at which banks can borrow from each other. 16 international banks have been implicated in this ongoing scandal, accused of rigging contracts worth trillions of dollars. HSBC has already been fined $1.9 billion and three of their low level traders arrested.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a motive and a link. This coincidence is impossible to overlook. Two mass shootings connected to LIBOR.

I enjoyed all 23 remarks but I kept waiting for a comment on Savage's twin brother in the picture with him. Fifty years of Republican voting and I broke ranks on McCain, and then on Romney. Not senile yet. Heh.
Wow! I had no idea. I'm glad I got the real scoop before I continued listening. Since his radio show went off air some months back, I haven't heard him at the usual 8pm Eastern.
I learned long ago that Savage is a moron. Stopped listening to him instantly.
