Contrary to popular belief, there ARE good, freedom loving people here in Jersey.
I'm proud to know one of them!:) Y'all need to come visit.
Rural areas of NY, NJ and the rest of the N/E aren't much different than the south except for differences in accent. It's the vermon infested cities that cause that cause the problems and that goes for the cities in the south and west as well.
