A proposal to end the government shutdown and avoid default orchestrated by Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Democratic Leader Harry Reid includes a $2 billion earmark for a Kentucky project.
Language in a draft of the McConnell-Reid deal (see page 13, section 123) provided to WFPL News shows a provision that increases funding for the massive Olmsted Dam Lock in Louisville from $775 million to nearly $2. 9 billion.

  1. And since he'll run unopposed (just like the last three primaries- the other republican "drops out" six months before the election), and "The Other Guy" is a radical neo-communist, we'll get Mitch in Kentucky-Whether we want him or not. ---The Olmsted Dam project is NOT in Louisville- But the Three Bridges project is. In fact that 12 billion is a drop in the bucket of federal money spent in Ky. over the last ten years. The democrat/republican cabal is spending money in west central Ky. like drunks on pay day. Why? Who knows? But they have poured TRILLIONS into the Louisville / Ft Knox/ western Ky. AO over the last ten years.

    2. In fact the Feds have spent billions on Ft. Knox the Bluegrass Activity(US ARMY depot and DRMO) ,The Bluegrass Ordnance Depot, "urban renewal" in Louisville, upgrades at The Navel Ordnance Depot, The Three Bridges, and too many lesser projects to count. For a facility slated for closure they have REALLY dumped a pile of money into Ft.Knox- But then they have done the same thing at the old "A" bomb factory next to the "Vett" plant in South western Ky.. (that's where the dam project is) Like I said they have been spending money on crap that makes no sense AT ALL-unless you have a plan you don't want to share with the serfs.

  5. Speaking of Knox - you keep hearing there is no gold there. The base paper - the Turrent put a list of what was in the vault when I was stationed there '92-'97 not much gold, not much silver, some jewels and pallets of what you make morphine with opium/poppies. In case of war so that it can processed and used
