'Anti-Gay': Entertainment Weekly Attacks 'Duck Dynasty' Star's Christian Faith

One of the most sinister movements in the mainstream media is the labeling of Christian beliefs as de facto bigotry, or anti-gay. It is baseless, it is anti-Christian bigotry disguised as tolerance, it is a smear, and it is a form of McCarthyism. And this is exactly what Entertainment Weekly is doing to one of the stars of the wildly popular (and Christian-themed) "Duck Dynasty."

Absolutely nothing "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson said here even comes close to bigotry, unless you want to claim that he is also bigoted against heterosexuals:

  1. If they are so "proud" of their "lifestyle," why do these ever-so-fragile specimens get the vapors whenever somebody utters something less than saccharinely complimentary about their precious "orientation?" I'm sure that not a day goes by that some media personality somewhere doesn't claim that some aspect of my beliefs or way of life makes me not only unfit for civilized company and a threat to society but a member of the untermenschen deserving of nothing better than a one way trip in a boxcar. If I let myself care about that and spent my time in high dudgeon over every imagined slight I'd never have time to sleep, let alone do anything else. My advice to the Terminally Offended in the "gay community" would be to lighten up and get on with their lives. They might find that if they stopped trying to tell other people what to say, what to think, and how to feel, those people might be show more tolerance toward them as well.
