Par for the course.

The family of a 72-year-old dementia patient are furious after police arrested her for a five-year-old unpaid seat belt ticket.

Police in East Moline, Illinois, went to Carol Fulscher's home to check on her well being Saturday night after a friend called them worried when she didn't hear from the elderly woman.

They left with Mrs Fulscher in handcuffs and carted her off the jail when they discovered she had an outstanding arrest warrant that was issued because she hadn't paid a 2008 seat belt ticket.
