This cellphone video captured by someone at Pittsburgh’s PrideFest on Sunday is making a lot of people angry. Aside from everything that is wrong with it – there’s something else really, really wrong.
No one’s talking about the disturbing comment the officer made later as justification for what the video clearly shows happening to Ariel Lawther, age 19: hairpulling, throwdown, grabbing hair as a stronghold to better punch her in the stomach multiple times.

I can see how the internet is increasing the passive/aggressive response in people - that leads to explosive violence - but what is in the training of police force that has them all lock-step into the "people are the enemy" and everyone deserves a beatdown mentality ?

Considering we are living in upside down world, I guess the rules have changed and they are using that protocol to only hire those types of people.

Absolutely disgusting! That LEO is a little wimp deserving of the title, pussy. And I do mean that will all due contempt and disrespect. As if it were needed (and it is not) he is a poster boy of every thing that is unprofessional and wrong with LEOs today. Secondly coming from the male sexist old school view of male-female relationships (aka being a gentleman) guys do NOT hit or beat up gals.

I suspect a lenghty stay in the local hospital ICU will give officer Bully the time to see the error of his ways. Remember officer Bully, you have to sleep some time, and Karma is a bitch.

DeleteWhat pisses me off is every time a cop assaults someone, whether they deserve it or not, the victim of the assault is always charged with assault and not the cop. Some people deserve a beat down from the police, but like you say, it seems now a days, its beat the person into submission first, ask questions later. Here is yet ANOTHER story where the thugs assault first, ask questions later.
