Another Travesty of Justice: The Carr Brothers Live

In December of 2000, within the span of less than a week, two brothers, Reginald and Jonathan Carr, engaged in a series of crimes in Wichita that Kansans recognize as among the worst in their state’s history.

First, they abducted and robbed assistant baseball coach Andrew Schreiber. Three days later, the Carrs set their sights upon 55 year-old librarian and cellist, Ann Walenta: they shot and killed Walenta as she attempted to flee them in her automobile.

But it wasn’t until three days after this murder that the Carrs’ campaign of evil reached its horrifying climax.

  1. This story sure has gotten lots of "play" in the national media. Its almost as bad as having to listen to all the Trayvon stuff.
    Oh, wait......
Just remember, if Obama had sons.....

  2. The young lady will NEVER, EVER live a "normal" life in this world, if even drenched in GOD'S grace. (I prray that I'm wrong, and that she shocks the world with her strength)!!
As for the two soulless demons.... Swinging from the end of a good rope, after all manner of unspeakable things be done to them. I'm sure that my GOD, would remind me that vengeance (like forgiveness) is HIS alone.
As K as stated many times, and I'm paraphrasing, when you find Evil, you go and kill it!
(Again, I'm thinking that this young lady survived all this horror for a reason, and may all of GOD'S Love & Grace be poured upon her)!!

    1. “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

But shouldn't we give him a little help......? :)

    2. Vengeance is the Lords, however sometimes the Lord may dictate that is up to us to deliver that vengeance on His behalf.

  3. When I was a pre teen boy I would raise poultry to sell for some money of my own and to put meat on the table. Often my birds would be attacked and killed by feral dogs and other predators. The concept of catching and detaining these animals was never an option. The only answere was to kill these critters so they could never kill again. In most any case of extreme brutality and violence there is no way to truely get that pound of flesh or revenge. Nothing we could do to them can undo the attrocities they have committed or bring back to life the victims. HOWEVER, we can end their rotten lives so that they may never kill again and so the surviving victims never have to worry about them coming back. Shoot them hang them fry them inject them its all the same. A means to an end.

Precisely, once they get the taste of blood they will kill endlessly regardless of hunger or whatever else.

      Indeed.

  4. You are both correct.... End their worthless lives, in/by what ever manner is at hand.... But END them. (Something resembling justice for the victims, the lone survivor, and her dead companions)

  5. Sometimes, the Lord uses "sub-contractors"! I think an Old Testament repayment is in order (an eye for an eye, etc.).
