Federal Judge Rules AR-15′s Are “Dangerous and Unusual,” Not Protected by 2nd Amendment

 Useful commie fool

In what looks to be a terrible ruling for Maryland gun owners a federal judge has essentially ruled that guns that were regulated by the state of Maryland last year, including AR-15 and AK style rifles (as well as other magazine fed, semi-auto rifles with certain features), “fall outside Second Amendment protection as dangerous and unusual arms,” according to a 47 page opinion by U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Blake.

The case in question is Kolbe et al v. O’Malley et al which named numerous plaintiffs including the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore, Maryland Licensed Firearms Dealers Association, Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), among others which challenged the constitutionality of Maryland’s strict new gun laws.

Here are some of Blake’s other comments [emphasis mine],

  1. Progressiveism, really is a mental health disorder, isn't it? She has absolutely no clue why the 2nd amendment was included in the BOR, and/or why the BOR was insisted upon! While I should be dumbfounded by her ruling, I'm not.....

  6. In my never to be humble opinion this bimbo either has zero clue as what she is talking about or is that evil, and lying in such a manner that Bill Clinton would be proud of her.
First, ALL firearms are dangerous. That is why we have and teach the four basic rules of fireman safety. And reteach them again and again.
Second, as to "unusual"..lady are you out of F--KING touch with reality. Do tell what is unusual about the most iconic, mass produced and issued weapon ever: the AK-47?
The M-16 and it's varients have been the standard issue weapon since the mid 60's and the platform and operating system being modified and adapted as a sporting hunting rifle. As a side note, converting and reusing military firearms for "sporting/hunting" purposes has a long history. The 30-06 round is a classic example along with the sporterized versions of the 98 Mauser, Springfield 03-A3, the Lee Enfield, and now the AR-15.
Clearly this is another liberal who will NOT let reality and common sense stand in the way of her hyper partisan agenda. The sooner she is featured in the obit section of the paper the better off every one else will be.

  7. she wouldn't know an AR-15 from the unique member of a male's anatomy. She's never seen either one let alone know what to do with it.
