NC: The NRA and Kay Hagan

 

The recently concluded North Carolina Senate race provides a vivid example of why it is difficult to have an intelligent conversation about gun ownership in America.

The National Rifle Association and its various arms spent $5.5 million to defeat Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan. That was the most the gun lobby spent on any race in the country this year, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Hagan, an ultra-cautious Democratic moderate representing a gun-loving state, would seem an unlikely object for the NRA’s wrath.

    Voted YES on Congressional pay raise. (Jul 2009) 9Because who wouldn't vote themselves more money? Right?)
    I'd vote for ObamaCare again, but do "sensible fixes". (Dec 2013) (yeah like single payer to start with)
    Voted NO on the Ryan Budget: Medicare choice, tax & spending cuts. (May 2011)
    Voted YES on extending the PATRIOT Act's roving wiretaps. (Feb 2011)

  2. What the fuck makes the gun grabbers think I want to have a "conversation" with them on any subjec?. That includes the weather...I have exactly 0 interest in "discussing" any infringement on my rights at all. ALL I have to say is No,HELL no,and back off now.Conversation over.
