Ain't my Army

Via WRSA

After reading the comments, I guess there is hope. My favorite below. :)

You mean that my DI was being mean to me when he called me the lowest form of life on the planet and that my parents were actually brother and sister? That I marched like a monkey f-ing a football? Wow, I thought that was normal IN THE MILITARY! Guess it's all feminized and pussified now.

Army Thanks Soldier For Confronting Offensive Behavior Online

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and senior Army officials met with a senior non-commissioned officer Dec 15 to thank her for leading by example and defending Army values, despite facing harassment after confronting Service members who were behaving unethically online.

First Sgt. Katrina Moerk, now the first sergeant of Charlie Company, 741st Military Intelligence Battalion, was browsing a social media network's community page earlier this year, when she came upon a video that she found offensive and sexist. When she commented as much, several respondents attacked her with insults. Some of these respondents were wearing uniforms in their profile photos, the first sergeant said, so she wrote to them directly.

  1. Every woman entering the military should be castrated anyway. Except that Skank. She's a role model.

  2. Awwwww, the fragile soldierette got her feeling hurt, because some politically incorrect meanies said some bad words. Puppy piddles. I am sure the nice piece of paper and the very nice man will make her feel better now. (sarc).
Ok, so what is she going to do, when some comes to kill her? In all her delusions of grandur and a career "serving your country", they forget to mention that the job of the Army is to kill people and destroy things. And the other side does NOT play nice at all. I miss the days of the old black boot Army. If she represents the average chick in the Army now, we're screwed

  3. She's a piss poor NCO if she couldn't handle it at her level and skips the chain of command to immediately take it to the top.

And to get an ACM for doing what is her job in the first place? Tell it to the ghost of Colour Sgt. Bourne who didn't get one of the eleven Victoria Crosses that were awarded after the battle of Rorke's Drift despite his gallantry because.....he was only doing his job, which was to set an example for the men of his command.

      Should have been reprimanded instead.

  4. When I was in the army... this pile of crap would have either been fragged, or she would have had so many screw ups caused by others she would have been demoted and/or discharged.... I am glad I am out, I saw the hand writing back in the mid '70s.

  5. As I have said a few times before....every institution in this country has been slowly sinking into the gutter since the mid 60's. Political institutions, religious institutions, military institutions, education and all others are in decline and we have further to go until more people recognize we have a problem. And it will take more than a 12 step program to get out of the gutter.
