The Burning of Columbia
Some of the events planned to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the destruction of about one-third of Columbia during the brief occupation by Gen. William T. Sherman’s troops:

For some reason 'red legs' Sherman really hated South Carolina. I read this

I believe because the War started there, of course upon the instigation of the Tyrant Lincoln. :)
