Those two are easy to confuse.

  2. I missed one for day-dreaming while reading.

I think this should be a test to determine if you have enough sense and knowledge to vote, but I suppose that is racst.

Just like the FSEE being dumbed down numerous times until finally they just did away with it. Some of the people now are beyond the pale.

  3. 100%. But there is still nothing that buffoon O'Reilly puts out that I'm interested in.

  4. Aced it! "Your score: 25 / 25 correct" That will help bring the average up.

Sunwolf, I think you went too fast on the test and failed the math portion of #8.
50 States X 2 Senators ea.= 100 Senators.....easy to do. At least you got the term in office right.

I have gone online elsewhere and taken the 100 question version (Aced it also) and looked at some of the other offerings of the test out there. IMHO the test is TOO SIMPLE and needs to delve deeper into how .gov is SUPPOSED TO WORK as well as more history.

I probably couldn't have done that good seven or eight years ago, but when the current El _residente came on the scene I magically acquired a heightened sensitivity to and interest in all things government. More so than I ever did in my HS civics class.

Tip for remembering #11. It always brings to mind the oldie by the Shangri-las "The Leader of the Pack". Some one needs to put different words to the tune and call it The Speaker of the House. Weird Al Yankovic maybe?

You can probably figure out by that last paragraph that I qualify as an old fart.

As for geography....who the hell teaches that anymore. I remember seeing a news clip where a college student was asked to point to China on a map of the world. He promptly pointed to Australia where the word China was writ large. I remember filling out the names of countries, states, capitols and major land features on many a wordless map throughout school from about 5th grade on.
