Editors of world’s most prestigious medical journals say much of scientific literature may be false

The Lancet first issue

Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine are the two most prestigious medical journals in the world. Stunningly, their chief editors admit that corruption is “endemic” in science, and that much of the scientific literature may simply be lies.

In the April 11, 2015 issue of The Lancet, its Editor in Chief Dr. Richard Horton writes:
A lot of what is published is incorrect.” …much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness…. The Academy of Medical Sciences, Medical Research Council, and Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council have now put their reputational weight behind an investigation into these questionable research practices.

  1. It's not just the liberal arts side of academia that the collectivists and control freaks have infiltrated and subverted. They have been hard at work in the hard sciences in order to coopt and control them so they can control what is or is not published. Publication becomes defacto 'proven science' and the larger the body of articles on a subject the more enshrined it becomes till it becomes canonical. It's all part of the agenda to control ALL information.

  2. At one time psychiatrists were considered care takers, cna's if you will. They
could prescribe nothing, order nothing. Then they formed a lobby. Most of
    them have mental instabilities themselves.
