"................another knee jerk reaction to that
anti-Confederate hysteria. Some people here are trying to get on the
bandwagon in erasing Confederate history..."
Yesterday, the Inquisitr reported on the Memphis City Council wanting to remove the remains and statue
of a Confederate lieutenant general, Nathan Forrest. Today, more
information on the story is available. The Memphis City Council has
voted unanimously to exhume the remains of Nathan Forrest and his wife,
which have been interred underneath that statue memorializing Nathan
Forrest, a statue that has stood since 1904. In order to complete the
exhumation, the Memphis City Council needs a court order and permission
from Nathan Forrest’s family.
A spokesperson for the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Lee Miller, speaking on behalf of people claiming to be descendants of Nathan Forrest, claims the family is not going to give their consent to remove the remains.

Only when these same people agree to exhume MLK's body from Atlanta. First.

ReplyDeleteThe FBI is now claiming that Dylann Roof
illegally purchased the gun he used to
commit the murders on June 17th, as a
result of "problems" with the standard
background check system.
There you have it sports fans.
What ever happened to the published statement that it was a agent's gun?
DeleteThat was Ms. Steinle in San Francisco where this scum stated he found the
ReplyDeleteagent's gun though the gun had been stolen out of the agent's vehicle.
Thanks for straightening me out! :) At any rate, I believe this is all just a waste of time, since you're supposed to able to buy a gun for $100 in any major city. Thanks.
DeleteHere's a little home cooked Southern Treason brought to you by the mayor of my old home town:

I thought the same, but I gather his father gave him the money to purchase one.
Deleteanyhow, if they start digging, I say we throw them in the hole, and tuck them in with a banner. Bout time we set a Line that isn't to be crossed.

Bout time, indeed.
DeleteThe agents gun has to do with the illegal alien in San Francisco.
ReplyDeleteRoof started out it was his father gave it to him. Now the NICS system failed.
Now with the Nathan Forrest issue "Enemy's at the Gate" comes to mind. I won't go any further.
Evidently his father gave him the money to buy it.
DeleteIf only he dressed up like Amos or Andy...
