Islamic invasion pulls trigger: Europe now scrambles for guns

Tens of thousands of Muslim “refugees” have poured into Austria from Hungary and Slovenia in recent months on their way to Germany and Sweden, two wealthy European countries that have laid out the welcome mat for migrants. More than a million will end up in Germany alone by the end of this year, according to estimates from the German government.

Obtaining a working firearm and ammunition in Germany, Britain, Denmark and the Netherlands is practically impossible for the average citizen. Germany, for instance, requires a psychological evaluation, the purchase of liability insurance and verifiable compliance with strict firearms storage and safety rules. And self-defense is not even a valid reason to purchase a gun in these countries.

The laws in Austria, while still strict, are a bit less overbearing.

A Czech TV report confirms that long guns – shotguns and rifles – have been flying off the shelves in Austria, and Austrians who haven’t already purchased a gun may not have a chance to get one for some time. They’re all sold out.

And those arming themselves are primarily women.

  1. Again the moral of the story is, you DO need to buy another gun and you do NOT have enough ammo. As well as you are not practicing enough.

  2. (Today is "gun day"!! I just got done making some 12 ga. BB shot & now I am sitting here cleaning my 1911) So, let me get this straight: A few years ago, these same people in Europe; mostly the women, were saying how crazy I am for owning a gun. Or very many guns, with plenty of ammo to back me up. I said it was my right as an American citizen to have these & yet I was being belittled at every turn. And now I read this...

(yawn!!)Well, it may seem that I am not as crazy as they said I am, yet I do not believe the ladies will rescind their negative venom they were spitting at me. It must suck being behind the 8 ball!! * qazycat *

  3. Sadly, I have little more sympathy for Europeans than I do for sheep that willingly walk into the slaughterhouse. They willingly gave away their freedom. In exchange for imagined nanny-care, they voted their governments all the power. Now they have to fight and get it back.

For the 'law-abiding, legal citizen', that might be.

For all the rest, there's more money and weapons being exchanged right now than there has been in decades.

All those weapons and ammunition from the 1940's and the Not-So-Cold War that were 'squirreled away' for a Rainy Day? Well, it looks like that rainy day has arrived.

I wouldn't be the least surprised to hear an MG 42 sing out on some reporters in-the-field news video during the up-coming days, if down the road it goes all-out.

And this one here almost made me sick from laughing........

“Shotguns will not, after all, solve any immediate problems, quite the contrary,” he said.( from Bare Witness Central's article )

The first thing I thought when I read it. :)

    2. I would concur that he don't know much. A sabot round from a 12 gauge does give a very definite solution to certain problems. Not having any lungs any more does tend to make the matter final. Just ask any deer hunter. Words don't mean a thing if you don't have the fire power to back them up (and the resolve to employ them). Let me put it this way: He has his law degree and I have a shotgun. Guess as to who is going to win. Here is another freebie, gun barrels ALWAYS look much larger when you are looking at them from the wrong end.

:) As does the 10 double loads of 00 and slugs in my Saiga 12 in the first mag.

Heh! Like a stove-pipe, they do.

If you don't have any slugs handy, a cut shell will work fine in some guns, too.

Up close enough, even an regular high-brass no.8 load will punch a hole through the torso area.

It'll also turn a human head into a pile of mush, or worse.

They don't call them riot guns for nothing.
