Joined by 123-co-sponsors in the House of Representatives, U.S. Congressman David N. Cicilline (D-RI) introduced the Assault Weapons Ban of 2015 to prohibit the sale, transfer, production and importation of many widely popular and commonly owned rifles, shotguns and handguns.
Despite the fact that these weapons are rarely used in the commission of crimes, Cicilline, and his Democratic cohorts believe that the ban is a key component to reducing gun-related violence.

ReplyDeletePRECISELY!!!! And that is exactly what the Founders intended. They wanted the populace to be just as well armed as any standing military in case they had to take their government back from politicians that abrogate the Constitution and The Bill of Rights.

DeleteToo late, they have already and more than once, have openly stated what their actual objective is: total confiscation of ALL privately owned firearms. AND, once the public has been disarmed, then, the mass murders will begin. They have already let it be known that they want to kill certain people. They want total domination over every one.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't want a firearm, any firearm used as a "weapon of war" then stop waging war on those who disagree with you, or just want to be left alone.

Delete& the answer will be the same as we got in 1861.
Coincidentally, I have just started reading a novel called "Tipping Point" about the very set of circumstances above. A mass shooting and calculable response by gun control liberals, their supporting lobbyists and media along with the refusal of 'fly over country' to comply.
