"Went to our favorite gun store the other day. They now have a sign on the door that says we're required to remove all hats and sunglasses. We turned around and left. My friend who works there
says they've installed more cameras and that the ATF or DHS is in there every hour they're open. He's pretty sure they're compiling biometric identification, matching with driver license photos. He said since the sign went up, their store visits are way, way down. He's pretty sure that they're gearing up for nationwide confiscation no matter who is elected."Well, we' waiting.  Can't believe they would be this stupid. )

  1. Which gunstore in Indy??

And are you sure that they aren't just trying to prevent robberies? Hats and sunglasses make Id's, for whatever reason, difficult.

    1. I don't know, but I'll ask. I thought the last statement a bridge too far. Thanks.

Heh! Oh, they'd really like to do that, all right, but that ranks right up there with riding unicorns to the moon and back. Only in their dreams......

  2. Yes. Do tell which store. There are two very good ones I frequent close to home run by good folks. There are a couple more with whom I don't do business because they are a-holes and statists.

    2. From Iver:

It's a store I know well and have been going there since 2001. It'sself-described as the largest in the Midwest. My friend tells me the sign is coming down, so I've got to wonder if a couple of lawyers got involved. Doesn't mean they're not filming still, however. I've started waving at the camera when I go to Walmart for ammo. Mostly, however, I buy reloading supplies from a guy in town.
