Tacky

It’s impossible to explain to a Yankee what “tacky” is.  They simply have no word for it up north, but my God, do they ever need one.

  2. Goodness, I didn't realize that not everyone used tacky. My mom always used it, as in "It's tacky to go out in public with curlers in your hair", translation being, if you do so, I will take the belt to you. Lol. Tacky explains a whole lot of things!

    1. :) Shore' does, my mother used tacky and probably set a world record for the number of times she mentioned it referring to pink Flamingos in people's yards. :)
