Texas authorities say two officers have shot and killed a gunman on Houston's south side.

Houston Police Department officials say the shooting happened about 12:40 a.m. Saturday, when officers saw a man with a revolver standing in the road. Police say after officers asked the man to put down the gun, he instead pointed the revolver in the air, then at the officers. The officers then fired numerous times.

The unidentified man died at the scene.

  1. The same crap is happening in my area, Asheville. Though I am
not in Asheville per say, protests are going on for an officer
shooting a Black who pointed some type of AR at them. The
shooting was totally justified. The shooter fired shots at
one location while beating the crap out of some woman in the
car; cops picked up on it and followed shooter to another
location; shooter got out of the car and pointed the gun
at an officer. The weapon laying right there on the ground
with the shooter. Totally senseless protests.
Plenty of people were on the scene at the time and knew
the shooter had the gun and was pointing at officer.
