New ID Badge Records Employee Conversations

A new Orwellian ID badge developed by a Boston-based company will give employers the ability to monitor their employees’ exact location and record everything they say in realtime.

The new badge, which hangs from the employee’s neck, is equipped with two microphones that perform real-time voice analysis and sensors that track the employee’s movements.

To provide some level of comfort to those who fear the new badges will violate their privacy, the company behind the badges has “assured” the public that the beacons used to track movements are not used in bathrooms.

  1. I suppose the libertarian defence of this is that employees can freely choose to work elsewhere.

I, um, really don't like such an ID.

We might find that rather than high IQ, it is the willingness to allow employers to totally dominate us that grants us success. So, those with more servile, obedient natures will flourish in the free market while those who value independence will be crushed. :D

    2. Don't get too negative! Society will just collapse if they attempt a pure rule by force.

      Look at the corruption: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-09-08/wells-fargo-fires-5300-engaging-massive-fraud-creating-over-2-million-fake-accounts

And I just continue to see stories on US corruption.

And the managerials can't seem to control Islamists.

I don't want a society collapse, but it's a pleasant alternative to slavery. I certainly don't wish to be a slave nor to be persecuted.
