Hillary’s Watergate?

Hillary’s Watergate?

After posting Friday’s column, “A Presidency from Hell,” about the investigations a President Hillary Clinton would face, by afternoon it was clear I had understated the gravity of the situation.

Networks exploded with news that FBI Director James Comey had informed Congress he was reopening the investigation into Clinton’s email scandal, which he had said in July had been concluded.

“Bombshell” declared Carl Bernstein. The stock market tumbled. “October surprise!” came the cry.

  1. If history is repeating itself up this point, that the current scandals are Hillary's Watergate, how it plays out will end in the same way. Despite his many flaws, there was a level of common sense and integrity that Pres. Nixon had the good sense to resign. I can still remember to this day where I was and what I was doing when the historic announcement that Tricky Dick was going to resign. This is all going to get very interesting. Golem in a pant suit will make sure of that.

    1. Yes, Ford knew Nixon had given his word to Thieu and should have followed through. A disgrace.
