Thank you and the same to you!
While there is much truth to what the man is saying, I disagree with other parts. I think he is trying to see to deeply into Lincoln as a sociopath. Was Lincoln and agent for the railroads and industrial base? Certainly, as was Wm. T. Sherman and his politically connected brothers and Ulysses Grant. Did Lincoln commit acts of tyranny? Why hell yeah! In addition to doing the things talked about in the video, Lincoln also suspended Habeas Corpus which in my opinion was his greatest single act of tyranny. Was Lincoln a white supremacist? He was full-blown. If he were alive today he rate higher on the splc's chart than David Duke. I am not sure I understand his "auto-genocide" term/classification. Also, I am not sure about his reference to Lincoln being homosexual. Many characters in early American history have been labeled as homosexual because some author came across a letter or diary where reference was made about sleeping with someone of the the same sex. This rarely meant that person was gay. From the time America was settled until the electrification of the most remote areas houses were often drafty and very cold in the wintertime. There was no such thing as insulation and the only heat source was a fireplace. Beds were scarce if they existed at all.People slept together in beds or on "pallets" simply to stay warm. As examples, Confederate General Patrick Cleburne has been labeled by a few authors as being gay as has President Thomas Jefferson simply because they referenced sleeping with another man and at times on multiple occasions, but that is just what they did. I do think the author of the video is dead on about slavery not being a factor in the war. Thanks for sharing.
