  1. I am delighted that he is dead. I don't think people have stopped to consider the damage he did to our culture by promoting sex outside of marriage, and making it look sophisticated. His magazine encouraged men to commit adultery. He laid the path for the normalization of sexual practices the were once considered to be sexual perversion. Thanks to him the sexual content on TV is getting to be more and more graphic. Our culture is the worse off because of this man and his magazine Playboy. Consider how back in the 60's Playboy was considered "shocking" and needed to be hidden in the back of the store or under the counter. Now it seems tame and quaint compared to what is out now. Our culture is the worse off. I am at a loss to think of any positive contribution he has made to the common culture with making pornography socially acceptable. Hefner was an evil man.
