New York Judge Puts Weiner Away

A federal court in Manhattan sentenced disgraced former congressman and New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner to 21 months in prison Monday, the resolution of a six-year saga of sexual impropriety broken by Breitbart News founder Andrew Breitbart.

U.S. District Judge Denise Cote arrived at the sentence after federal prosecutors asked for 27 months for Weiner’s single count of transferring obscene material to a minor. In May, Weiner pleaded guilty to “sexting” with a 15-year old girl, the last in a long line of online acquaintances with whom Weiner engaged in explicit exchanges.

  1. He has not been imprisoned.
The judge gave him until 6 November
    to surrender himself.
Between now and then, his lawyer
and the (without rule of law) federal court
system of the democratic peoples republic of New York will finagle a suspension of
    his sentence.

  2. I was told in NY that Manhattan courts are much better than Brooklyn. That is certainly born out by this latest development.

  3. Shrillary did blame both him & Huma for the laptop debacle. Any takers on how long until he's discovered dead in his cell once he's in the lockup?

  4. I always looked at this guy as a joke, and I'm the last guy to say anything good about a NewYawkuh.

But if you take a look at that reality-show movie about his mayoral campaign, it's clear that this used to be a guy who had stones, and wasn't a bit afraid to punch way out of his weight class. This obnoxious little guy just would not back down.

Once again, we are often our own worst enemy.

    2. Yeah, I watched it expecting to get a laugh, and I wasn't disappointed in that.
But, at the beginning, he was shown fighting for the people in his district on a few things, and I'll be darned, but he was a fighter.

  5. Here is a good general rule of thumb when going after a younger female (assuming you have a moral compass and an IQ greater then your shoe size): If she is young enough to be your daughter, she might be too young. If she is young enough to be your grand daughter that is absolutely way too young. Suspect that Weiner will always be a sex pervert. Have you noticed too, that when there is a sex scandal involving a politician, generally it is a democrat?

  6. "New York Judge Puts Weiner Away". Weiner could have avoided all this legal retribution if he had put his wiener away in the beginning and kept it there.

  8. Thank God he didn't get assigned to Butner, North Carolina
prison, the country club of prisons. Pollard, the rabid
spy was housed there and of course, released early for
health problems except he ain't dead yet.

    1. A couple of prisons have been mentioned, both low
security not that I think he is physically
dangerous except to young girls. A lot of inmates
will have a problem with him so he will be placed
      with others of his kind.

I was thinking he would be placed with white collar crime inmates to protect him.

Don't you wish if you, or you friends
and relatives who committed a nom-violent
crime, one time only and with no priors,
    had received this privileged treatment?
    I'm sure you do.
"And, as his lawyer emphasized in court on Monday, he is the father of a 5-year-old boy, whose continued contact with Mr. Weiner could be instrumental to his recovery."
