Paul Craig Roberts: Military Surgeon Says Videos of Las Vegas Gunshot Victims Are Fake

Via comment by Anonymous on Police ‘Confident’ No One Else in Shooter’s Room B...

It looks like readers are not going to let me let go of the Las Vegas shooting. Some tell me that it is my fault for having alerted them in previous articles to anomalies in other shootings and terrorist events, so now they are more skeptical and pay more attention. Others say that as I emphasize that this is their website supported with their money, I have to see this through to the end. They say it is a cop-out when I say that there are too many disparate accounts for us to know.

One reader made an excellent point. According to mainstream media reports, 59 people were immediately killed in the shooting and 527 were wounded. Among those 527 wounded, wouldn’t some of them have died from complications, blood loss, trauma? How come none of the wounded, people allegedly hit with military rounds, succumbed?

I agree. This does seem to be inexplicable.

  1. Nearly 400 of those were injuries, not GSWs (Gun Shot Wounds).
From falls, fractures, trampling, crushing, sprains, etc. in running away and vaulting barricades, fences, etc. or walked on by a herd of panicked human cattle trying to get away.

The tally of actual shooting victims I heard reported, possibly including the dead, was 197.

Like real estate, GSWs are all about location, location, location.

With GSWs, head and torso wounds are bad fast.
People shot in arms and legs can frequently be sent home within hours with nothing more than a good bandage, and a prescription for pain meds and antibiotics.

Of the 130 others, some may still die from blood clots, infections or other complications. And many will have short-term or lifetime problems afterwards, both physically and mentally.

Also, by definition, the worst cases were dead right there, or not moving, and the ones able to run, walk, limp, or crawl away are the ones that can generally wait 1-6 hours for care.

Lastly, UMC is a world-class Knife & Gun Club trauma hospital, with ER and OR trauma staff, and only less than 5 miles straight up the I-15 from the incident site.
They and any other Vegas-area receiving hospitals got their @$$#$ kicked I'm sure, but just like Iraq/A-stan, if you get people to a trauma hospital and surgery within the Golden hour, you get 95-98% survival rates, for those not dead when they hit the ground, or just about to be.

    So this isn't that surprising.

They got lucky this guy fired spray-and-pray, and his marksmanship was crap. Somebody trained and doing aimed slow-fire could have killed far more.

I didn't post this, but thought that there would be just as many if not more by aiming with a semi.

  2. Some more comments to PCR's article. I watched a video of
the chaos going on at the time and saw two young women crouched
down beside a car, laughing. Remembering Scalise, one shot to
the hip; not expected to live, numerous surgeries, fading to
death, in and out, weeks in the hospital.
