Wash Post Writer Who Defended Al Franken's Groping Fired the Next Day For "Improper Behavior"

Journalist Garrison Keillor, who wrote in a Washington Post article yesterday that calls for Al Franken to resign over his sexual assault scandal were “absurd,” was fired the very next day for his own “improper behavior”.

Life comes at you fast.

Keillor, who hosted the popular radio show A Prairie Home Companion, was dismissed by Minnesota Public Radio over “allegations of improper behavior” earlier today.

Just yesterday he wrote a Washington Post article entitled Al Franken should resign? That’s absurd.

  1. I admit, I was delighted to learn of Keillor's firing by MPR. He was not shy about letting every know that he was superior to every one else being he was a Minnesotan and wore his humility as a badge of honor. Karma meet Bitch. What is absurd, Mr. Keillor, is thinking the "do say as I say and not as I do", standard of conduct due to what political party you support, or politically correct causes will give you a free pass and you can separate what your public image is from what you actually in private.
