House Intelligence memo released: What it says

Via Billy

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., wrote up the FISA memo. He never wavered in his determination to make the information available to the public. President Trump agreed, and, as required by House rules, gave his approval for release. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite)

The House Intelligence Committee has released its controversial memo outlining alleged abuses of secret surveillance by the FBI and Justice Department in the Trump-Russia investigation. Here are some key points:

* The Steele dossier formed an essential part of the initial and all three renewal FISA applications against Carter Page.
* Andrew McCabe confirmed that no FISA warrant would have been sought from the FISA Court without the Steele dossier information.
* The four FISA surveillance applications were signed by, in various combinations, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Dana Boente, and Rod Rosenstein.
* The FBI authorized payments to Steele for work on the dossier. The FBI terminated its agreement with Steele in late October when it learned, by reading an article in Mother Jones, that Steele was talking to the media.
* The political origins of the Steele dossier were known to senior DOJ and FBI officials, but excluded from the FISA applications.
* DOJ official Bruce Ohr met with Steele beginning in the summer of 2016 and relayed to DOJ information about Steele's bias. Steele told Ohr that he, Steele, was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected president and was passionate about him not becoming president.

  1. Finally! Good for Trump for standing his ground. Looking
forward to Lou Dobbs, if he is hosting tonite, and Tucker.
    Thanks.

Also awaiting Paddock's autopsy report which the coroner
refuses to release after a judge orders its release.

Seems like it only confirms much of what we were told already.

  2. There's got to be something darker; why else make all the
    fuss.

    1. It's like that crook Comey said on his twitter acct:
As an example of the kind, James Comey’s twitter account has a header “a higher loyalty”, and what that actually means is the loyalty to the higher ruling elite, which comes in well above such petty things as America and the constitution. It was he, when he was still head of the FBI, who passed notes to a friend of private meetings he was having with the president, so they could be leaked to the press.

The treasonous Sessions should resign or do his job
      and quit scratching backs.
Funny how they get rewarded for treason which includes
      Comey.

    2. “a higher loyalty”

If I read it, I would assume he was referring to God.
