  1. Brock, I guess you know the story of Pikeville in Vietnam,
the slaughter. What a screwed up mess they leave behind.
The comment at the end is excellent:

There is honor, kindness, and conscience - and then there
    is none.

  2. Suppose to be Pinkville. I don't know where Pikeville came
from in my brain of brains. I don't see South Africa on the
list. SA was also over-thrown by the US with the help of a
couple of other countries - the other countries are always
lurking. The Boers could have handled the situation on
their own. Reagan resisted getting involved but he was
    over-thrown.

  3. A good article and thanks. I was *in-country then but don't remember when I was first aware of it.
    *10/67 mostly until the end.

  4. I'm surprised Calley wasn't shot in the back by friendly fire.
Begging for mercy during the trial. Hypocrite. Unable to
feel for others. Thompson was human.

    1. Did you see this?

79% of the public opposed the conviction.

    2. Yes, I read that. I thought I had misread. It's like
the Hunger Games. Brainwashed to hate the Vietnamese,
      no matter what.

    4. Thank you for the clarification. I imagine the same
type of Crimes Against Humanity is going on in
the ME too. I need to read up on that Phoenix Program.
