Maryland's ban on 45 kinds of assault weapons and its 10-round limit on gun magazines were upheld Tuesday by a federal appeals court in a decision that met with a strongly worded dissent.
In a 10-4 ruling, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, said the guns banned under Maryland's law aren't protected by the Second Amendment.

This 'court' is about as much of a farce as the 9th circus. There is No Such Thing as Assault Weapons - it is a wholly made up term. Period.
ReplyDeleteMy walking staff is an 'assault weapon" wonder if they will confiscate it also........
DeleteI notice the pukes don't take comments.
ReplyDeletePar for the course. Can't have disagreements you know........
DeleteI think in the end this will get to the Supreme Court
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
DeleteWhile it's been years since I read the Heller case, that ruling is not the pancea some people seem to think.
DeleteIt did NOT confirm what is obvious to most in understanding the concept of God given rights or the clear meaning and intent of the 2nd Amendment. If it had the 1968 and the 1938 would have been rendered moot.
Y'all have a nice day.

Your Natural Right.
I have been telling people for weeks that local, state and federal "law enforcers" are pumping themselves up for another series of "Waco" type raids. Maybe even a mass state wide "door to door" confiscation, in someplace like New York. Although IMO government would be much happier to stage a confiscation effort in North Carolina or Kentucky. Somebody really wants to know how far they can take this communist dictatorship push before "flyover" pushes back--Ray

DeleteFor sure.
The last time I checked the 2nd Amendment didn't distinguish between calibers or designs of "arms". I can't wait to read how the court decided it did.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteAnd so it starts.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteI'm wondering if it gets that far what the Supreme court will do? I'm not so sure they'll stand with the 2nd. However with a little luck if Ginsberg falls off the perch and Trump gets another conservative candidate in there might be hope.
ReplyDeleteI hope he gets a couple of picks.
DeleteWhat will happen if they try to confiscate ? The cry will be
ReplyDeleteTo Arms to arms to arms......! among the citizens who own the guns. Then...a real blood bath ...I just wonder how the government (s)would get people to actually try to confiscate them ? The citizenry owns millions more than law enforcement and the military combined I would wager !

Deleteabsolutely.
Matt you have much more confidence in your fellow citizens that I. After years of hearing opining, bloviating, and mounds of bovine scat it has become obvious that the vast majority will simply shrink into the shadows as soon as their friends door gets kicked in during the raid. In the dead of night they'll creep outside dig a hole, bury their now 'illegal' guns while telling themselves they'll dig them up when they are 'needed.'
DeleteI've spent much of life time looking for people who will simply get off the couch and do a bit of training. While I have run into a few who are spread out over a vast area of sevearl states there are NONE, that I know of, in my immediate area. That includes friends, family, and oh ya, the "I'm gonna kick some ass" guys down at the range.
I pray you find more success.
Y'all have a nice day.
Take their TV away. :(
DeleteDon't forget the beer.
DeleteY'all have a nice day.
:) That would do it.
DeleteClaire Wolf wrote of that "awkward phase".... I think it's just about at a close.
ReplyDeleteAlas.
We shall endeavor to succeed.
