Okay, Now I Actually Do Want To Take Your Guns

Listen, I know the moments after a gunman opens fire in a school are hectic for you. You have to get your talking points together, you have to mentally prepare to debate a traumatized yet sensible child, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and practice saying that more guns would have made the situation less deadly. It’s a busy time! And since we are always either in the moments after or the moments before a mass shooting, you’re pretty much always busy, I have noticed!

Anyway, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I now actually do want to take your guns.

All of your guns.

Right now.

  1. molon labe! I am weary with the posturings of the progressives (read closeted communists), and am glad that their childish tantrums are removing the veil from their true, liberty hating nature. We had best be ready for the coming showdown.

OK but, history is not going to repeat itself. Stalin could have been stopped if everyone would have shot one of his supporters at the door. Millions of lives could have been saved. So we have a resolve to treat you correctly when you come and try it. We intend to take out your toadies and the people can deal with you and millions of lives will be saved. If these UN soldiers and foreign soldiers are toadies under your command then they will go with you. Make no mistake we will hunt you traitors down with extreme prejudice at the end of the action. The Constitution is not a popularity contest, it is the foundation of the country.

  5. "Common sense gun control"
    "Practical measures...".
    "Raise the age of ownership..."
Hear those nuggets often, more just after a murder by a deamon-riddled boy. None of the phrases if put in to practice, will prevent anything from happening. Except make the 2nd Amendment more feeble.
Maturation was once forced upon youngsters by nature and by circumstance. That process has been slowed by a number of technological advances and social changes; hence the inability of many young boys to advance beyond their childhood. "Common sense gun control" will not make a smudge against that armor and those boys in adult bodies will continue to disrupt and murder at will. And me and you? We are the targets.
