Archaeologists in Ireland have uncovered a megalithic tomb containing two burial chambers, complete with elaborate carvings.
The passage tomb at Brú Na Bóinne, a
World Heritage site in County Meath, was excavated by agri-technology
Company Devenish and experts from University College Dublin’s School of
Archaeology.

That's really great. And at least if we discover human sacrifice does appear important in European paganism, as many suspect, then we'll appreciate Christianity all the more.
ReplyDeleteBut no matter how depraved the pagans were, we can still learn from them. The Greeks left amazing texts, that included much practical wisdom.
If anything, learning about Socrates makes an atheist appreciate the need for Christianity in society, because Socrates was killed for undermining his society's mores. Ramz Paul made a similar post: https://twitter.com/ramzpaul/status/1019266500665004033
And I'm no atheist, but I hope atheists do realise how we cannot "progress beyond" Christianity. They're just "progressing" off a cliff.
They're just "progressing" off a cliff.
DeleteThanks and damn if they ain't!
