I am leery and contemptuous of most police officers and will not for the most part interact with them officially or socially. That being said I would not treat them except with no more respect then is afforded to a Badge and firearm wielding official. I never say "Sir" to them but address them as "Officer, Agent, Deputy Sheriff, Judge, etc." And I certainly do not swear or carry one like a spoiled child. If I have a problem with one, that is my attorney's job to intervene on my behalf. Jail for a week in general population would cure a lot of that...
Back in the good ol' days, these aggressive commie freaks would have been hauled off to jail. Humiliating for the police and degrades their status. How they have the patience for this abuse, Lord only knows.
