Democrats
in Congress have announced their top legislative priority, and it isn’t
health care, immigration, or taxes. Instead, they want to centralize
power over elections in Washington, D.C. H.R. 1 is number one on the legislative agenda because it is the number one priority
of House Democrats, leftist groups, deep-pocketed dark money, and those
who use election process rules to help win elections -- or at least to
cause chaos.

DeleteSuch would require a Constitutional amendment. I don't really see many states beyond CA and NY signing up for this. I hope the Dems seriously try this. I see it is a very large nail in the coffin of their party, especially at the state level.
ReplyDeleteLast king an amendment the Ds will try to establishing a federal subsidy to "assist" the states that would have the same lethality as any other federal funding. If they accept federal money they must accept federal regulatory control as well. States will have surrendered it's last remaining sovereignty.
