The Real Bonnie and Clyde

“Bonnie and Clyde were pretty lookin’ people. But I can tell you, people, they were the devil’s children.” Georgie Fame, The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde
She was petite and pretty; he had boyish good looks. But their attractiveness belied a violent and criminal nature unmatched by any couple in American history. By the time the pair had met their violent end in 1934, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow had been suspected or accused of several killings, robberies, kidnappings, and a laundry list of petty crimes.

  1. Bonny Parker and Clyde Barrow never robbed a single bank. What they did do: The robbed: Gas stations. Candy stores. Grocery stores. A National Guard Armory. They broke three men out of prison. They got in three major gunfights. Only one of them with the law. They killed four police officers in Texas. That is what cost them there lives. Frank Hammer. A former Texas Ranger was call by the Gov. Of Texas and told to "Hunt them down and kill them on sight" That is exactly what he did. He waited in Ambush and killed both of them with BAR light machine guns. They never saw it coming. ---Ray

I found many sites which state they did.

"Movies and TV have tended to portray Bonnie and Clyde as habitual bank robbers who terrorized financial institutions throughout the Midwest and south. This is far from the case. In the four active years of the Barrow gang, they robbed less than 15 banks, some of them more than once"

  2. I dont really care if they robbed a bank. It was the depression. A long time ago. Heck, most of the USA didn't have paved roads or electric tricity. Different time. Different rules. I wish more law enforcement would hunt down and kill the violent gangs alive today. They have each killed a lot more people and more violent crimes. Krips, bloods, Ms-13, bikers. All of them should go but they all have civil rights and lawyers at the ACLU now. There is no doubt that bonnie and clyde would have killed more if they had lived longer.
