San Clemente Island: German shepherd found alive five weeks after lost in Pacific

Via Dan Boyette

I've dived off the island before from the Spirit of Adventure

A fisherman's beloved dog that was presumed to be drowned in the Pacific Ocean has been found alive five weeks after falling overboard his boat.

Nick Haworth's dog, Luna, a 1 ½-year-old German shepherd, was spotted Tuesday on San Clemente Island, a Navy-owned training base 70 miles off San Diego. The blue-eyed pup disappeared February 10 as Haworth, a commercial fisherman from San Diego, worked on a boat two miles from the island.

  1. The dog was two miles from the island. Why do they show that the island is 46 miles from the coast of Kali?

    1. It will be 6 weeks this Saturday (14 weeks old now) when I put the deposit down and should get him next week after his final trip to the vet and he should be house broken also. It's 10 hours to Louisville so aren't sure if I or a neighbor will pick him up. It's $250 to send him by air and the breeder doesn't like to send them that young anyway. He was considering bringing him here and staying for a visit but can't make it work. That would be best for the puppy though. Thanks.
