Trump Has Changed the VA and Wonderfully So

There are not enough words to express the excellent changes he has ordered and/or the difference in attitude the VA personnel now have contrary to their mediocre one before. I am now able to go to practitioners in Tarboro instead of Durham.  (Before I had a 6 hour round trip when I lived in Cape Carteret)

  1. VA here in Atlanta still sucks. I have to travel 2 hours to Augusta where I can complete an appointment plus the drive time quicker than I can in the ATL. The clinic in Lawrenceville can be an alternative but they have limited services.

    1. I guess you haven't heard:

If you are 30 minutes or more away from your general practitioner, you can go to a civilian doctor. If you are 1 hour or more away from your specialist doctor, you can go to a civilian doctor.

    2. The people (pencil pushers) are a bunch of a--holes at my clinic. They make me wish the VA was history. The doctors have been great though. I did get an e-mail that still said 40 miles. All I've heard about the 30 mile is hearsay. (Northern Iowa) Do you have to have VA permission?

    3. the 40 mile deal is old. The new one effective Jun 6th is called the Mission Act and I already have an appointment with a civilian doctor to remove my 2 Cataracts. Go for it! :)Community Care 877-222-8387.

  2. I still won't use a VA facility or want anything to do with them.
