No one stood for the Pledge of Allegiance on the first day of Daniel Goodman’s class at First Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida. And no one stood on the second day of class.
So on the third day Mr. Goodman wrote a message to his students on the whiteboard rebuking them for disrespecting the pledge.

For the past several years I've been paying 1/3+ of my take-home salary to a private school. It's become too much and next fall we're forced, financially, to go to the public school system. Which I'll be watching like a hawk.
ReplyDeleteI'm already getting the kids to understand basics, like if a girl is born a girl, they're a GIRL. Period. Etc. The basics of patriotism, taxation is theft, climate change is false, etc.
I wish it were otherwise but it's just not possible any more.

I agree. You can always just do it yourself. You would be surprised at how easy it is to teach kids and how incompetent the public schools are at it.
