U.S. Surgeon General Jerome M. Adams has a serious message for Americans worried about the coronavirus: Stop buying masks.

“Seriously people — STOP BUYING MASKS!” Adams, an anesthesiologist who has been surgeon general since 2017, wrote on Twitter.

“They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!” Adams wrote.

  1. For some reason officialdom and the media won't say it, but spend your money on supplements line Vitamin D, Vitamin C, magnesium, zinc and iodine. At least 5000 I.U.'s of Vitamin D is very important for one's immune system since this is time of low sunlight. For instance, in an hour of summer sun with typical clothing one may get 8000 I.U.'s of Vitamin D. Do at least 1000 mg of C. Research these and enhance your health. Typically doctors know little about nutrition and sometimes care less. --Ron W
