The GOP held this District in 2018 by just over 1,000 votes. Last night? Well... just look.

Member when the media said every special election spelled DOOOOOOM for the GOP in 2018?

Notice that there is NOTHING about this anywhere.

The typical "concerned" trolls that liked to come on here and post various GOP special election losses for dog catcher in a random Blue State are SILENT when we have a result like this. This was a 38 point win in a swing district and the media is SILENT.

Republican Christopher Jacobs defeated Nate McMurray, Duane Whitmer, and Michael Gammariello in the special general election for U.S. House New York District 27 on June 23, 2020.

--------------

Chris Jacobs Republican 55,131 68.7%
Nathan McMurray Democrat 23,673 29.5%
Duane Whitmer Libertarian 925 1.2%
Michael Gammariello Green 469 0.6%
