i wonder if they considered the significance of the date....they had campus police out early, blocking access. snow was falling, lightly dusting the general. i saluted as i do every morning and said goodbye. i often wonder what might have been, had he not passed at that time, had he been at gettysburg, antietem, petersburg.....who will vmi look upon now for guidance? cardi b? jayzee?
