Please help discharged military personnel

  1. I feel for those who refuse and will be discharged. The question is will it be Biden's choice of a Dishonorable which is the equivalent of a Felony conviction, a General Discharge which turns Honorable after a year with the loss of some veteran benefits, or Honorable with conditions that retains full veteran benefits.

I had the same choice with the Anthrax vax back in the 90's. I grew up on a farm with cattle so I had the Anthrax vax as a teenager. The military version was twice the dose with 3 times the follow up shots. I was Guard at the time working for Abbott Labs at the time. I made the call and found out twice the dose should not cause any problems so I took it. I had one of my team members said no. They gave him an Honorable but classified him as non-reenlistable so he could not get back in to finish his time for a pension. He retained all veteran benifits.

Interesting and thanks, but I imagine it will be worst this time around.

  2. It will take those of us Veterans who have already been out for a while to explain to our bosses and HR departments, (at least those who will listen), that this new wave of discharges aren't for the same reasons that they've traditionally be meted out for. That any dishonorable discharge is for purely political reasons and serve as proof that these individuals have the courage, strength and honor to stand for their principles. That these Airmen, Soldiers and Sailors refused to follow immoral and illegal orders even when corrupt leaders simply try to legalize immoral things through edicts and rubber stamps.

If Congress re-wrote the USMJ to make it "legal" to rape and murder people, and then ordered soldiers to commit or support such actions,
would it not be the duty of the soldiers to disobey?
