  1. The true rate of inflation has always been significantly higher than the official rate. Now the difference has reached a point where the discrepancy might be an actual order of magnitude.

  2. Jim Cramer is a soulless hack. He completely whiffed on the crash of 2007 (Buy! Buy! Buy!) and after he finally got something right and criticized Obama he immediately folded after being taken to the woodshed by Valarie Jarrett's people. You'll do better to go with your gut instinct than pay a bit of attention to what this clown has to say... about anything.

  3. What was it Morton Friedman said about inflation...something like, "Inflation is everywhere and always a monetary phenomenon." We have been overspending and keeping interest rates artificially low for a long time now. This _is_ about to get a lot worse.

  4. Jimmy is nothing more than an actor playing a role on the TV. They say it is informative and edgy , the rest of us know it is only entertainment for the low info voter. Please take and or use the advise of the uncivil and immoral at your own peril. THe rest of US know better.

  5. One part of inflation that few mention is physical size of products being downsized but price stays the same . Or manufacturers changing the recipe with cheaper ingredients. Madd magazine use to joke about it this as back as 60s 70s.

A 3# bag of tators for the ye olde price of a ten-pounder.

  7. No one's lamer than Cramer.

For his next revelation he will announce it is darker at night than he originally thought.

    Y'all have a nice day.
