The Battle of Cowpens highlights our disgraceful National Park Service

The National Parks Service (NPS) is a shambles.  It is run by progressives playing COVID kabuki theatre to limit access to the parks, and it partners with partisan tech giants to control information.  Like so many of today's federal agencies, they need to be dismantled, the ground where their offices stood needs to be salted, and the organization rebuilt from the ground up.  In particular, NPS's plans for the 221st anniversary of the Battle of Cowpens are an obscenity.

  1. Call our Gov. Henry McMaster. He's a pretty sensible man and may be able to help. Here's his contact info:

  2. National Parks are unconstitutional and the land should be returned to the states.

    1. As of 2019 China owned 191,000 acres of American farmland. That should definitely be unconstitutional.

    3. I remember this same fear back when it was the japanese, then the arabs, then "bill gates". The fact is, other people can buy all the land they want. They can't take it with them.

  3. That's right. In North Carolina and Georgia, the land belonged
to generational Appalachians. When the Appalachians would not
leave THEIR land, the fed gov burned their homes and shot the
people while they were running from their burning homes.
Now, speaking of terrorists - there is nothing they won't do.
Just like the Indians were treated. The scum slaughtered
114,000,000 Indians just because they wanted their land.
    Blood entrenched land.

    2. Son and daughter couldn't even release the writings when
it was of no interest to them at all unless their greed
of possible monetary gain clouded their minds.
I'll have to look up Stand Watie. Thanks.

  4. Thank you! Here is an Indian I read about in 2002 who was considered
the greatest athlete of all time. His two gold medals were
basically stolen from him by a jealous Avery Brundage when he
was President of the Olympics. Thorpe was harassed all the
way thru his career. Brundage competed against Thorpe and lost:

The story stayed with me so I printed it out and placed it
with a few thousand other print-outs. Sad story.
