New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said all nine bystanders wounded in Friday's Empire State Building shooting had been hit with police gunfire, CNN reported Saturday morning.
According to Kelly, of the nine wounded, three suffered gunshot wounds and six were hit by fragments.

My ten year old grand-son sat in my living room last month. He lives in Wenatchee WA and has the Ranger 22 single shot rifle my grand-father left me in 1948. I asked him about the rules of handling a gun. He was pretty close to Jeff Cooper's rules. He got the first three right off and expressed the fourth as I like to, and I didn't teach him. He said, "Don't shoot if it might hit someone besides the target." Maybe I could get him a consulting contract to teach New York City cops how to shoot.
