Dr. Ben Carson to CPAC: Obama 'Trying to Destroy the Country'

When Dr. Benjamin Carson lit up Barack Obama over his landmark health-care legislation at last month’s National Prayer Breakfast, it appears he was … holding back.

Not so in his speech today at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

“I’m want to talk a little bit about what’s logical and what’s common sense today, because we don’t hear a lot of that,” began Carson director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

“Liberals and everybody else should understand and enjoy common sense also. For some strange reason, sometimes they don’t.”

Among his “common sense” barbs: Members of Congress ought to remember they work for the people, not all black people think alike, nor should they be expected to, and the current policies and tactics of Obama and his allies are working to “destroy this country.”

“Let’s say somebody were [in the White House] and they wanted to destroy this nation,” Carson posited. “I would create division among the people, encourage a culture of ridicule for basic morality and the principles that made and sustained the country, undermine the financial stability of the nation, and weaken and destroy the military.

“It appears, coincidentally, that those are the very things that are happening right now,” Carson concluded.

  1. It was beautiful. I heard it on the radio. My 15 y/o daughter is half black. I have told her that the country is so divided on race we may never tecover from it. I also told her that the next time she is asked a political question in school about supporting Obama because he is black- I told her to say " I have mire black blood flowing through my veins that he does." I explained to her that his mother was white and his father also had Arab blood in his background.

    1. How sad that 15 year old children are dragged into the politics of socialism, marxism and racism by .gov teachers. This should be a time for her to be looking at "Sweet Sixteen", a Prom, and slumber parties with her girlfriends.

      How sad.

  2. I wonder if Carson made the Domestic Threat list? Gentlemen when you believe in Liberty and Freedom and it's supporting documents and you are tagged as a Domestic Terrorist/Threat, S already HTF.

Now stand up on a National stage as Carson did twice, remember the first time was with the O at his side, he may want to hire many body guards.

    1. I imagine he is like Stonewall.

“Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time of my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready no matter when it may overtake me.”

  3. The Supreme Court is Dred Scott, usually.

    However,

"A law which is repugnant to the Constitution is null and void."

  4. Every government has a Domestic "threat" list. If you're a native and are displeased with those running your government, YOU fall on the threat list. Doesn't mean you're the problem. Means you're a threat TO the problem. In this case the illegitimate regime of the unconstitutional soetoro-obama.
