On Saturday March 23, Terry M. Hestilow, a retired Army officer with nearly 30 years of service under his belt, posted this letter he sent to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) this week. Hestilow wants DHS to hand over their war weapons to the Department of Defense.
The Honorable Senator John Cornyn, State of Texas
United States Senate

Re: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and that agencies preparation for war against citizens of the United States of America
Dear Senator Cornyn,
It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America. To date, DHS has been unwilling to provide to you, the elected representatives of the People, justification for recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems, when, in fact, the DHS has no war mission or war making authority within the limits of the United States of America.
Significant is the fact that at the same time the Obama administration is arming his DHS for war within the limits of the United States against the People of the United States in accordance with his 2008 campaign speech claiming,

ReplyDeleteI don't know why Obama has not been impeached long ago.
He would have been except that he is "black," no ifs, ands or buts.
Deleteu should have all gone to CPAC last week. It is important that everybody get behind each other as a group in this country rather than everybody sitting at home, being 'deeply concerned'. O has a sinister agenda, and he has accomplished half of it already. 2014, we MUST take over congress and soon after all significant seats, or we are screwed as a Nation beyond repair.Go to all tea party gatherings, post all over your facebook, and don't care who doesn't like it. etc etc.call congressman, all the time, about everything.....the liberal news and object ,every time they spread garbage...could be a full time job.Support Brent Bozell, and all those on the front line
DeleteIf I could have only one hero it would be Dietrich Bonhoeffer, hanged in 1945, two weeks before his prison was liberated by the US Army, with the others who participated in the failed plot to kill Hitler. He wrote in 1942,
ReplyDelete“The ultimate question for a responsible man to ask is not how he is to extricate himself heroically from the affair, but how the coming generation shall continue to live.”
My concern is my grandchildren who don't deserve the corner that W Bush and B Obama have painted them into. I say to my old Republican Party which I served for 50 years, "Have you no shame? You could find the courage to impeach Clinton who was not arming Federal Agencies to kill citizens, but not Obama? Have you no shame?"
How can our coming generation possibly live with 20 trillion dollars of government debt and heavily armed civil servants?

DeleteI'm afraid they do not comprehend the meaning, conveniently.

It has to explode at some point.
I think it could be the Republicans are in on this plane. It looks to me that the Obama administration has paid off the ammo plants not to sell to citizens of America or at least limit the number of rounds allowed to be sold. Could also be the the ammo manufactures are raising prices through pure greed. I also think if we see blue head gear on the operators of the APCs that will be a sure sign that another shot will be heard around the world. Just saying.

Delete100%.
My Dear Mr. Wrangler....one will nkt see Blue Helmets here. Rather we will see the uniforms of fellow Americans.
DeleteIt's pure greed for ammo price increases. .45 ball at 29.99 a box and .45 hp's for the same cost and same round count. .75 cent a round for 5.56 and 1.00 for 7.62 and this is dealer cost In most cases. 4.00 or more for .22 rimfire for 50 rds. If and when prices do drop. I'm buying 10 k of .22 rf
ReplyDelete.45 ball at 29.99 a box and .45 hp's for the same cost and same round count.
DeleteI would have thought that HP's would be more than ball.
Natchez has the ball .45- HP's were Copes which is now 39.99 and sold out. Natchez may still have ball ammo not sure haven't checked.
ReplyDeleteI've sent a report to the THIS AIN'T HELL web site, so Captain Hestilow can be investigated.
ReplyDeleteA genuine United States Army officer would not wear his uniform in such a bogus manner.
If bogus, he sure has balls.
DeleteI just received a response from Jonn Lilyea, the webmaster at the THIS AIN'T HELL web site.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the ARMY KNOWLEDGE ONLINE data base, Captain Hestilow is an authentic retired Army officer, just a poor example of one.
He served in Viet Nam and Afghanistan, and received his commission in 1977, never being promoted beyond the rank of captain.
I can't understand why he'd wear his uniform so improperly.
I had thought that he may have come up through the ranks, hence retiring at Captain.
DeleteIf I felt a need to judge the man, rather than the message (and I don't) I'd give him five stars on his shoulder for having the courage to write the letter. When the war starts put me under his command. I've sure been assigned to worse men than he.
Delete:) Indeed.

ReplyDeleteI highly recommend perusing the comments from readers that are posted at this web site:
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/03/retired-army-officer-dhs-must-surrender-their-war-weapons-to-dept-of-defense/
You are aware, aren't you, that the Internet is currently plagued by INNUMERABLE military imposters?
Thus, when I see a photograph of an alleged United States Army officer improperly wearing the uniform, then yes, I am correct to "JUDGE" and become suspicious.
And, as has been pointed out in those comments posted at the above listed web site, even his opinion is to be questioned, since there currently is no discernible difference between the possible activities of the Department of Homeland Security (which never should have been created) and the Department of Defense, both of which will probably levy all-out war against the American people.
On the other hand, I know everything, and I'm always right, so you KNOW that I can't be judged, because nobody is as good as I am, not even with whipped cream and a cherry on top.
(Yes, mixed in with the serious stuff, I'm having a bit of fun!)
Thank you.
