The CIA searched a congressional computer network, possibly violating the separation of powers between the branches of government, said the chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee.
The breach involved the removal in 2010 of hundreds of pages of documents from secure machines provided to the committee by the CIA, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein said in a speech on the Senate floor. “On two occasions, CIA personnel electronically removed committee access to CIA documents after providing them to the committee,” she said. “This was done without the knowledge or approval of committee members and staff and in violation of our written agreements.

Feinstein angrily denounced the CIA's actions, saying it appeared to be a bid to intimidate lawmakers from holding the spy agency accountable.

  2. So using a government agency to punish and harass ones politicial adversaries is entirely acceptable behavior, but when the same tactics are used against you, then that becomes unacceptable? There is a word to describe this: HYPOCRISY! She seems to believe that she is entitled to special considerations and exemptions. That those who are members of the "elite" have special rights cause they and they along are so much better than every one else. Karma meet bitch.
