The ban needs to be fought. The ammo didn't fit the criteria to be banned. 7.62x39 was done due to a production handgun in the caliber- even though it wasn't released the announcement caused it. The 7.62 ammo had to be kept by the dealer, surrendered to police or transferred to someone with a DD license- can't remember the number.
Olympic Arms / Rocky Mountain Arms for the AR pistols in 7.62x39. Century Arms offered to pay both of them not to do it- back when they had millions of rounds from east Germany.
