  1. But but but 'they' have tanks and attack aircraft and bombers and helicopters and atomic bombs...............................REALLY? Is a poor single person like me that much of a threat that they would even consider using those arms against me? I think perhaps that they really ARE considering military force against Citizens says volumes.

  2. I am not sure what the message is supposed to be. My guess is since Mother Jones is a lefty progressive rag we have to confiscate guns because citizens have too many. The problem is the citizens obey the law while law enforcement shoots first. I did a little research since 2001 police have killed over 5000 citizens. Over that same time period citizens have killed just over 600 police. It seems to me like if we want to save lives we need to disarm the police.

  3. Only a dumb commie like "Frank Marshall Davis, Jr." would think that it's possible to seize all of the arms from the men and women of America.

  4. The thing that astonishes me is that the "BUT THEY GOTS NUKES!!!!" crowd doesn't seem to realize that there are tens of thousands of registered heavy weapons (and hundreds of thousands NOT registered) hundreds of supersonic aircraft and thousands of old ( and perfectly serviceable) AFV's in civilian hands all over the US. Add to that the tens of thousands of "heavy" weapons and tanks scattered in small numbers all over the CONUS; often in small town NG depots , with a "ready supply" of ammunition, and the "We can't win" government created propaganda meme falls flat. This is the thing that the Federal Dictatorship fears most: That we will realize our power, and see their weakness.---Ray

If their fear mongering collapses, they're in trouble.
