Great video, thanks for posting it.
Yes, Sir and thank you.
Last year when we were in DC and went to take in the memorials, that memorial was one of my favorites. The WWII memorial was beautiful and grand and a fine tribute to those who fought that war, but the Korean War memorial was so real with it's life sized figures, silently moving through the landscape with all the grittiness that comes with war was so moving. The expressions on the faces of the figures so real, it was haunting. I kept asking, "Why have I never heard about this memorial?" And of course we went to the Wall. That, sobering, black wall that has the force of the emotions from thousands of bereft humans, surging off of it in waves...
I like the Vietnam Soldier's statue. There is also one in Raleigh which is excellent. http://docsouth.unc.edu/static/commland/monument/184_full.jpg
Yes, I like that one too. Very realistic. Too bad all those awesome memorials are in such a den of vipers. When you were in Cali did you ever see the Bob Hope memorial in San Diego? It has life sized figures in it that are dressed in all the different uniforms of all the wars that he entertained the troops through. It was cool. We also we able to go onto the USS Midway, it's docked there now and is a very awesome museum.
Thanks and no Inhaven't. Been there a million times in my taxi, to the airport going to Mexico, never never thought of it. :)
